    Default Ft. Loudoun 1/17/15


    Pretty foggy on the water this morning. Caught a good limit. The water temp was 42. White and black jigs seemed to be the favorite colors. Name:  image.jpg

    Took us a little longer to catch a couple of limits. 12-14 deep mostly on yellow flies tipped with minnows. No pics sorry. Good to see everyone on the water today. Lots of fish taken out of loudon today. Trolling curly tails was successful for a couple of boats in the area.

    Obviously it was any color fly tipped with a minnow​(lol). Good to hear you and your brother caught 2 limits.

    That lake is overlooked by many but is very productive for crappie. thanks for the photos and and the reports.

    DeLo the Crappie in your picture are all White Crappie except for the third one from the end. It is a Black Crappie.
    Life is good. Fishing is better.
