I caught 1 crappie this morning. That's one ...... more than zero.... The shallow water that I had been catching them in was still frozen over, the lake was up at least 2 feet and muddy in one of my coves and the wind was whipping down the other. There were several eater sized perch willing to bite tho and the wife favors perch over crappie and walleye both so the day wasn't a bust.

Kingfish. Their 11-12 inchers but I catch a bunch of minnow robbers too.

11 and 12 inchers are good eating. The minnow robbers would make good walleye bait if it was legal.
