We blasted off around 7:30 am and fished until about noon. The water temp. was 48*. The river current was turned on. We used 1/16 oz. jigs with BGBS Mo Glo Ghastly Minnow.

We made our first stop and ran into Merdock and a couple of his friends. They were as surprised as Jerry and I were to see each other on the water. It appeared they were doing ok fishing. We fished with them awhile. Always nice to see friends on the water.

We ended the day catching 20 with 17 keepers. Most of the fish were 11" to 12" but several were a solid 13". One was 14-1/2". Making it a Fat TARP.

Jerry is holding up a 13" with the 14-1/2" Crappie. 1-1/2" length sure makes a difference! lol
