    Default Tellico Crappie In October

I needed to get out there and drop a PVC fish attractor which had been sitting in my way in the garage for the past few weeks.
Since we had been having nasty weather the past few days, I was pretty sure few eyes would be out on the lake today.
Sure enough there was only one other trailer at the boat ramp. Got out to my spot of choice and made the drop. Then I thought what the heck. Lets see if we can catch a couple crappie before heading back in. These fish have been holding out in deep water for a while now so I decided to see if anyone was still at home with the water temp down to 63 degrees.
They was. I called the day with 21 crappie boated and 16 keepers in all (up to 13") on a 1/16 oz crappie magnet in my favorite colors.
I have been using the crappie magnet plastics all this year and have decided they are here to stay in my box.

Great way to launch the fish attractors. Nice catch also. Is it safe to say that purple is you favorite color of crappie magnet?

Actually I broke my favorite color off and decided to try this new to me color out for the first time. Dicks has magnets on sale for a dollar and some change so I grabbed a pack of them. Limited selection though. The crappie liked that color just fine so all is good.
