Night Fishing This Friday

Still new to crappie fishing and haven't really fished this time of year. I'm wanting to try some night fishing this Friday with some LED light sticks I made. I'll be in the KY Lake/Barkley area and wanted to know what I should be looking for in terms of depth, cover, etc. Any recommended areas? Thanks for the advice.

Sorry for the delay i just saw your post.Probably cant hep much anyway as ive never fished there and i'm a nightfishing newbie myself,but i can tell you how i've been catching them all summer at dale holow nightfishing with the green led's.In july when we started they were suspended in 40 to 50 fow,and we were catching them between 12 and 25 ft down.Now those same waters are 35 to 45 ft deep and the fish are still 12 to 25 mostly 15 to 20.The only structures are where some mudslides and trees slid in the water,Basicaly wood in the water at least 35 feet deep.
