    Default Chickamauga Lake 6-21-2014

Tony, Archie and myself went Crappie fishing this am. We fished docks, bridges and delta structure. Our better fish came from docks in 15' of water.
We used Bobby Garland Baby Shad lures on a 1/16 oz. jig. Various colors. The water temp. was 84*.
I caught my biggest Black Crappie this year. Tony is holding it up. 16-1/4" Black Crappie. Archie caught a good size Alabama Smallmouth. lol
We filleted and fried the Crappie with some hush-puppies back at fish camp. Yum yum.
Total caught for the day was 28 with 12 keepers.

Congrats on a good day, and 16+" is a definite slab. Bet those two filets were big 'uns.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
