Fished the Middle Tn Crappie Club tournament Saturday with Mr. Tom aka slabacks. He has some very neat electronics with si. Something I don't have. It was very neat tops see images of tress and structure of different kinds. Even sunken boats. Very cool. We had a fair day of fishing. Caught 9 keepers. Took 7 to weigh in that weighed 4 lbs and change. Biggest fish was about 11.5 and .75 pds I think. Big fish caught for the day was a 1.19 pound. People caught lots of fish but not much weight. We did have a good time as the fish did respond well to about anything that we would throw. When the fish quit hitting we just changed to a different color and it would start back up. Lost a few good ones at the boats edge but not any bigger then we had in the box already. All in all it was a good day of learning the lake and fishing with friend. Not sure how the weights compare to last year but some of the guys in the club seem to think it is improving. So that is a good thing. Would like to thank slabacks for taking me out and helping bring in a limit.

Weather was mostly sunny. Light winds 5-10 increasing by noon. Started at 6am finished at 1pm. Water temp around 86.

Dave it was a pleasure to have ya in the boat just wish we could have found those deep ones sooner. That last one you pulled in replaced one we had and if had more time I would have been glad to fight the wind up front while you pulled in more lol.
