    Default Reports.

Have been watching the Tennessee reports and haven't seen very many good ones lately when it should be on now. Wonder what is going on? It has to get better. Any ideas of what may be happening? Of course the weather has been a factor I am sure. I did not get out as planned last weekend but I did see a lot of pleasure craft headed that way.

I believe the spawn is done for the most part. Last 2 weekends, we have caught 0 fish off the spawning grounds. Most we have caught have been on channel breaks adjacent to flats. ALL the females have had no roe. We just started hammering the 'crackers instead! 120 cleaned the last two weekends!

Don't think the spawn is over or even started at the foot yet, my cousin won a local tourney sat. at the foot with only eight fish. He caught them jigging the washout, all males no ladies to be had. I'm no expert but looks like most will be spawning in deeper water from what i'm hearing...

I am not sure that the lack of reports is a result of the bit being over or members just reading and not posting. I plan on going out tomorrow either on O'Hickory or Percy Priest and will report back any success I had. I'm no that knowledgeable but have caught a few here and there. FYI I have a friend up at Kentucky Lake who fishes and he was killing the Crappie a while back but not is focusing on Shell Crackers. I don't know if the spawn if over or not but I know if they are not spawning they don't disappear they just find other hangouts and it's our job to find out where exactly that is... Its that way with every fish species I have ever fished for...Good luck and tight lines...
