First successful crappie trip for the wife limit included

Was able to take the wife out for an nice breezy fish trip
Water temp was 63 the catch was mainly black male an a few whites that had not spawned an a couple had I believe.

She he has made a few trips with me that were not real productive at all so I was happy. An boy did I get to laugh as I watched her tangle an mangle a couple of lite rods. An to boot loose a 14 " at the boat. We had a nice mid fishing trip meal. (That's a change up for me) we found our bite best in 9' with minnows under a float at a fast blown pace. An occasion finding that the where small schools here an there. An noticed while reeling in there were sometimes other crappie coming to the boat with the hooked one. Seen that with bass before but not crappie. Finished the day with a nice limit biggest 15 1/4 an the other was a 14 7/8. An she had both of them my best was a 12 1/2. Also pick up 2 cats that made nice fillets. Here is a picture of my beautiful bride an her nice fish.

Na brother she is a only girl an yes she maybe ruined now but she has had some ruff trips prior to this. I cld whack fish all day she show up an we would go bite less for hours. So it finally went her way.

We all have rough times but it is the good times that keep you coming back for more. Now maybe you have a permanent fishing partner. That and lunch is hard to beat. Great Pics.

She is permanent... wish I could be able to do that more for her.. but we generally have a good time regardless..
