    Default Douglas - 7 March 2014 - Loaded the Boat w/Big'uns.

First of all I do have more shirts then one, My wife was one of the first one's to work at Bass Pro, when the Columbia Sun Screen shirts went on sale, I bought one of each color but loaded up on tan, the best fishing shirt that I have ever had on. This morning it was still windy and cold (10 ml per hr) I could have gone back to the same area that I was at yesterday it was loaded with 101/2 to 11 inch fish but wanted to try and get out of the wind, went to a different part of the lake, still windy but not as bad as yesterday, but it sleeted (light) on me this morning, enough to break out the rain coat. Jeff W. was in his boat next to me and we both limited out in short order, we had good fish yesterday but compared to them, today we had some BIG'UNS. Yesterday my fish came from 14 to 19 ft of water, today they came from 24 to 29 ft of water, fished the same depth at both places.Name: mini-Crappie Pic's 7 Mar 2014 001.jpg

    Hi sandy ridge,
Iive in Knoxville and just tried Douglas yesterday for the first time. Went over Dandridge bridge to launch and fished general area as we didn't know the lake, did ok, but not great. Any suggestions welcome. Tried minnows and grubs
