Default Nice Stay on the Lake

Fairly new to the forum, have posted a few times, but have learned a lot from reading all the great posts on the forum. Me and the family just spent 4 nice days at Pleasant View Resort on west sandy. Wish the weather would have been a little milder and the wind a little tamer, but we made the best out of it and caught our fair share of crappie. You might have seen us out on the lake, the family that looked like eskimos. Thanks for the info on the lake and techniques as it made for a very memorable trip.

Sherry and Brian at the resort are great people. Really nice accomidations and very friendly. I would recommend their resort without hesitation. Looking forward to our next trip!

    Tight lines and many Thumps!!

I was born and raised just south of the pumphouse and grew up riding my bike down to the crows nest for a sandwich and bait, to fish off of the levee there when the water was right. I remember as a child my father and I riding up to the pumphouse on the boat and the water being at the doorknob on the east side. alot has changed since mr. Jerry had the marina and old man Frosty had his house boat parked there. I remember catching huge fish off of those docks when the weather was right. Man brings back memories.
