I was there wednesday and the bite was slow for me. I fished mostly 11-13 fow from the power lines to elkhorn. But someone reported catching them in 3-5 fow of water the same day,I didn't even try that shallow,I'm guessing they were catching blacks that shallow. The water temp was around 53-54. I'm gonna give it another try tomorrow too.

Not too good. I took two nephews and a friend of theirs, with their dads. So there were 16 poles in the water all day with four people fishing them and wound up with 10 keepers and a very nice yellow perch. Very slow day for us. But it was a beautiful day on the lake. There was hardly any wind at all most of the day but you would have thought that there was a dragboat race going on. I'm still rocking around like I'm on the lake but I'm on my couch.

We fished friday and saturday. Had 2 good days. Was pushing jigs in 6 to 8 ft of water and put 58 keepers in the boat friday. Saturday with the wind figured we were done for and ended up with 66 keepers. There were 3 of us. On saturday the fish were running a little bigger. Lots of 12's . I ended up with big fish with a 13.5. Was fishing big sandy area. Lots of Blacks and a few whites both days.
