Ten mph winds will make big sandy pretty rough, there are usually places to get out of the wind though and still catch fish. Although blood river has a lot more protection from the wind than big sandy.![]()

Coming down later this week. Plan to fish cypress and maybe big sandy or maybe blood. Need to make my decision on which license. With winds projected around 10 mph on Friday and Saturday will that make Big Sandy rough? With Thursdays winds I plan to stay in Cypress Creek. If that will make Sandy rough maybe I will get Ky license and go to blood.

When the wind gets up on big sandy, the boaters fill all the coves near me on West Sandy. That is why I was in the cow pasture the other day.

Also Big Sandy is probably twice as long and twice as wide as Blood River.

Winds are not suppose to be too bad tomorrow. I'm gonna give em a try. Just hope they haven't caught lock-jaw.
