Big Sandy Improving!

Well, I've been the last two Saturdays, and the fishing seems to be improving. The water was still a little murky but not as dirty as last weekend. Last week we held one rod apiece because of such a light bite, but today were able to spider rig and the fish were hitting a bit harder. There were a lot of boats on the water and seemed that we were catching as many as anybody else. We were fishing SLOW! sitting on a couple of mats in 12 fow most of the day. Enjoyed a great day fishing with my son. Lets wait and see how this cold front will affect the upcoming weekend.

Nice feesh About ready to come up and unwinterrise (I guess thats a word) my camper at the lake and try and get on some big sandy crappie. With this ice storm and the cold temps this coming week guess it'll be another couple weeks. Love fishin west of the big island

Where is your camper at? I also have one up there, but haven't unwinterised mine either. West of big island is a good place to fish, just have to wait til March 16.
