    Default Watch yourself on Normandy

A lot of timber floating out of the rivers and other junk. hit a log yesterday near the bridge out of Barton Springs. Had several boats coming up behind me and was able to wave a buddy off just before he would of hit it.

Put a damper on the hole day as I was not able to go where I wanted up in the river due to the motor. Was late for the way in but that was not an issue due to the fish not wanting to cooperate

    be safe guys

Sorry to here about your troubles buddy. Was worried about you when you didn't come to the weigh in but Toby said you made it back ok. John and I seen that thing. We were sitting still when it floated by us under the bridge. Hope it didn't do to much damage. Let me know if you need any help with it. Working on getting this new toy to work for me. Thanks man.

Sorry to hear about that Tom. Hope you can get it right soon. Saw an 8 foot pressure treated 12X12 floating in that lake 3 years ago. must have floated off from someones dock work is all I could think. Had anyone hit that it would have been real bad. Y'all keep your heads up.

It took place right out of the gate. Tracy and several others stood by while I checked out the motor. After I got it started and thought all was good we all went on...thx going out to those guys for sticking around for sure. Later I found that it just wasn't running right so I stayed in the area and didn't go up in the river like I planned. ended up down near the dam.

Will have to say that tx or no tx, Not a boat in that string didn't stop to check or wait for the thumbs up from me. GREAT bunch of guys!

I was there when he came in Saturday and there was also a mechanice there at the dock who looked at it for him. It was determined to most likely be just an out of balance prop from striking the log but slabbacks can maybe give you details from that day forward on it.His prop shaft didn't appear to be bent which was a great thing.
