    Did anyone have any lucky fishing lake barkley or kentucky lake this weekend?

    For me the bite was terrible. I found fish but nothing seemed to fit their appetite.

    I think all the lakes are slow for now but hopefully these 60 degree days will perk them up a bit. At least my home lake (reel foot) is finally thawing out, gonna give it a whirl wednesday...

    Will do Slab, hope it better tomorrow at the lake. I went to a honey hole today off the big muddy to do a lil jig fishin. Should of stayed home windy and no crappie only managed a couple white bass.

    Well should of stayed home again!! Fished from 8 til 3:30 and got three bites... I used straight minnows, jigs tipped with minnow, straight jigs, every color I had in my box thye just wouldnt have it. Tried deep , shallow, fast, slow, nothing. Man I was just bum fuzzled that there were 40 plus boats that i seen and on one catching fish maybe friday

    Is the water still muddy? I wonder if the shad kills have a large part to do with this.

    Fished yesterday in Big Sandy and caught about 25 fish. 7 of those were keepers. Caught fish in 12 fow right on the bottom. Water is still pretty muddy.
