Debbie and I crappie fished from noon until 3:30 Tuesday. It was nice to feel the warm sun on the back of my neck for a change. Water temperature was 46-48 and clarity was good. We caught 21 crappie...2 yellow bass...1 "small" largemouth...1 yellow perch. We fished 1/16 oz. BG and Panfish Assassin jigs in 13-20 feet and most of the fish were deep. I caught the largest crappie right at 13 inches on a BG Outlaw Special Scent Wiggl'r. A few more warm days and nights should really "kick-start" all species soon. TWRA was out and about in a small aluminum boat doing routine boat checks and measuring the fish in the livewell and everything checked out ok. They were impressed with a couple of the crappie. Be sure to get a new license before the end of this month.

Nice looking bucket of fish! I was out Sunday and up my way the water was still muddy and 41*. Thanks for sharing the report.
Life is good. Fishing is better.
Water temp there seems to be a little warmer then most everywhere else. Good job and thanks for the report.
