Some docks will hold fish this time of year. As I know of a family that catches a limit each day all winter long off a dock. They have there limit and back home in time for work. But in 25 years I still have no ideal where the dock there fishing is? Sure its heated and that is the reason its holding those fish.
Mosh fish I Know of being caught had been single pole fishing deep brush piles and drops. Using the smallest jig you can still feel.
Side pulling should be heating up right now and hope to get out the end of this week to find out. The coves that hold fish betting have ice in them so not good for fishing.

If I can catch the wind and weather right this week. Hope to fsh the riprap along the Dam road. It should hold some good crappie as those rocks will warm and pull the bait in. That is if we can get a couple of days of Sun.
