    Default Clarksville Area

I'm somewhat new to the area. Last year I fished Dover (Dyer Creek) and took a trip up to the bloody river on KY Lake. I was only able to get out a couple times before I deployed. I was just curious if anyone has had luck catching crappie at Dyer Creek or if I should skip over it and just head to Paris for Eagle Creek or Big Sandy. I'll be back in a few weeks and can't wait to catch some slabs!

There is ALOT of man made structure in Dyers creek. Also try lick creek and Bumpus mills (saline creek) both have a lot of bushes to fish come spring time. It is definitely worth the trip to Ky lake and the Big Sandy area. I know both lakes real well. I live in Clarksville and I am always willing to teach anybody that is wanting to learn. Hook up with me when you get back and if you would like we can try to get out and go sometime. PM me with any questions you might have.

Hey bigorange, you still live in Clarksville? I just got stationed here and I'm a newbie to crappie fishing. I've caught some catfish and bream at Bumpus mills the last time I was here but I would love to learn anything I can.
