Default Fishing this muddy water. Douglas

Any good tips for fishing the muddy waters of Douglas? Hear people still doing hot but I've never caught anything in this mud. Thanks guys and hope you all had an awesome Christmas and will have a great new year with many more fish to be caught!

Every other weekend it seems to rain, and gets muddy again. I'm going out in the morning and I'll give heads up if its still real murky.

i read an article once, this couple was fishing in muddy water an slaying the crappie.the secret was that they were using pink bobby garlands, around stumps.i dont know what time of year it was, they didnt say,but apparently pink works good in murky to muddy water.hope this helps.

Caught them good on DARK green (not Chartreuse) sat in 8 ft of water under a float and it was a CLAY HOLE. No minnow. Twitch the float 3 times, pause and continue all the way to the boat. The bite was LIGHT and 99 % of the time they would barely move the float and when they did they raise it UP and the float would fall over. If it's choppy use a pencil float. Oh, and if they stop pulling water the bite slows WAY down. Good luck.
