I got up this morning with no intention of fishing but, with nothing but "honey do's" to do today I thought I should go scouting a spot that I had been wanting to try for a while. So I got on the water at 9:30 this morning and fished until noon and ended up with 7 keepers. The largest was 13.5 inches and the rest were nice fish as well with only 1 throw back and I lost several fish. They were liking white flies tipped with a minnow slow trolling in 12 fow at 0.5 mph. The water was actually clear and 46.7 degrees which surprised me with the rain we had on Sunday.
