Took the cane poles out of boat and grabbed a floater rod and joined the crowds along the banks today, used a blue jig under a float bout 3 feet deep. I think everyone is limited out everyday now with the crappie population Douglas holds. Must be a zillion under 10", fishing looks good for years to come.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

It is great that the TWRA is involved in crappie and crappie fishing. They are setting out brush piles and stake beds in the area lakes. There will be a gps location of these piles in the future on the TWRA web site. Good for Douglas lake. Good catch.
