    Default temperature drop ?

Being a crappie novice at best, I have a question for you more experienced crappie guys. If the crappie move up and start spawning right now and the weather drops considerably, will they still bite? The reason I ask is because it is in 70s and 80s nest couple days and i have a day planned Friday and its only supposed to be mid 50s.

I am no expert but my guess is that they will have lock jaw friday on my home lake Reelfoot.

You may find they are still biting, but moved back out to the staging areas in deeper waters. Keep your bait moving when they aren't biting well. It helps, sometimes a lot.

Thanks Tim, I decided to wait and go Monday. Maybe with it being a little warmer I will have a little luck
