Default Hiwassee river in the wind.

Got a good friend home from Idaho. He, Sailfish, Me and Tenncrappie Jr. started at 7:30 before the winds came. Color of the day was Black/Blue/ Chartruse, Electric Chick in BG, Pink/Blue/Chart and Wildcat. Fish were in 3-6ft of water. Water temp was 56-60 degrees. Both boats ended up with 55 keepers and 78 shorts before the winds came. Everyone got sunburnt. Thanks for the side Sailfish. Water level still low. Parking lot full when we left lot of people out.

    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

How far down the Hiawasse were you fishing? Took my boy yesterday ... we have never fished it ... we just hit the first few coves after leaving the TN River. We caught probably 18 or so in the few hours we were there, but almost all were too small. Was still a great day hanging with my boy. We caught ours in 3-9 feet of water, mainly around laydowns, using red/white and blue/white jigs.
