Considering moving to TN in 2-3yrs. HELP

Would like all good advice on what lake and community would be best for a old country couple with very little $$$$$$$$$$$$$. Thats why considering TN. Live less than 30 miles from Sardis here in MS. We might have access to the lake 3-4 months of the year since OBAMA lake care is in place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Need to live 3-5 miles from GUARANTEED GOOD FISHING LAKE YR ROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

Lot of rural areas close to the water with year round ramp access. Lexington, Tn has several water shed type lakes. The tennriver/Kentucky lake is miles long with rural communities all along the river. Middle Tennessee has Cumberland river, Old Hickory lake, Peircy Preist etc. May need to narrow down which section of Tn you are moving to, West/Middle or East

I have a place near Paris Landing I plan to retire to, I can't wait to get there full time.

Paris area would be great. Some great fishing and outdoor things to do there plus they have that Catfish thing once a year.

I have a place near Parsons about 25 miles south of Camden. I live there every weekend for now and plan to make it my home when I retire. I think you can't go wrong any town from Paris south to Savanah.

Look around the pickwick lake area. There are affordable communities around the lake on both sides of the river. You have good fishing both below and above the dam, and you have reciprocal fishing agreements with MS & AL on the lake. Lake front property is high, but you can live in affordable areas less than 5 minutes from the water. You should also be able to find the same types of communities in Tishomingo County MS, with access to the same lake, along with the Tenn Tom waterway and Bay Springs.

In 47 years, I cannot remember a time that we were unable to launch a boat at pickwick due to low water.

I appreciate your time and input!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like the looks of the paris tn and camden area not knowing anything about it. The tenn tom tishomingo co. ms is also considered. Hate to get away from worlds best crappie size wise on N ms reservoirs but like for the past 5 mo no water and after all it is a flood control reservoir with 4 mo at best water in past 6 years.
