Went to Tim's with Halac saturday fishing the middle Tennnessee crappie club big fish tournament. We caught 10 crappie 2 or 3 yellow bass 1 spot and 1 catfish. All of the fish were caught in less then 8 ft of water with most caught in water no deeper then 6. Caught on jig and some on minnows. All were around brush. Tried deeper water and fish were there but not hitting. Largest crappie was 12.5 inch 1.1 pounds. Only 6 were keepers but had a great day. Hal is a good fishing partner and I hope he had a good time. Trolling motor needs work so it was a little hard to keep the boat straight so the Hal in the back could fish. Hope he had a good time. Nice weather that day. Cloudy and seventy or so.

I had a great time Dave; just wished I could have contributed more toward our catch though.

Maybe if the weather get a bit less drastic we can take my boat out and do a bit of scouting.

Had fun for sure. Took some time to learn what little I know now about Normandy ....may take longer for Tims
