Lynn and I went to Tims Ford saturday afternoon got at rock creek boat ramp about 2 oclock. Went up creek and caught 3 pretty much as soon as we got there. Only 1 keeper about 12 inch. Headed down river from the boat ramp and didnt do any good at all. Came back to the ramp area and caught 3 more there. Only 2 keepers this time. Fish were caught on jigs and minnow. All baits were moving when we caught fish. The bite was very light. Didnt really get much more then a twitch in the line. The fish were just on the end of the line as it was moving. Not much of a tell tale bite.
Was looking foward to making the tournament through the middle Tennessee crappie club this weekend there. That is why we went to Tims to fish. Lynns sister had a stroke Saturday night but she is alright now. She is at home and feeling ok. But we will be going to see her next weekend. Seems like life gets in the way sometimes. For me more often then not. Just glad she is ok. Hope the middle Tennessee catch a good bunch.
