Nickajack

I want to come to Nickajack and catch some nice gluegill/brim. If I were to put in above the dam where are some good places to try? What all can be caught below the dam beside catfish?

Tenn todd if you want gills put in at Brendaline boat ramp,that is the one you see crossing Nick-a-jack on I-24.Come out of Brendaline to the river and turn left go up river till it makes a right hand curve and go left as far as you can go and drift down the left side of bank all the way back to Brendaline.I wear them out right thru there.Below the dam you can catch gills bass stripe cats and crappie.PM me if you need more info.
