I built mine, now what I did was took me some square tubing, made my Tbars and then drilled the holes for the bolt on rod holders. I Used the cheap rod holders you can find just about anywhere. I flatened em out just a bit and tightened em down good. It has worked for me for several years. I keep a wrench in my bait caddy under my chair if I need to make adjustments.

HI TEKs is what I have and love them!!! They have the open top where you can snatch the rod. They have full motion. They are removable from their bases so if you don't need them then they are easy to move. I ordered two extra bases so when I am trolling then I can move them to the back. They were also pretty cheap compared to others at 85 for a 4 rod set.

I have used several different brands and settled on the hi-teks. Well made, user friendly and good customer service. Home. If you were unhappy with em, you'd be the first I've heard about. I have enough to put 19 rods out of my boat. I guess I'm biased.
