Thread: Need some direction

I came to Ft. Campbell in 09 late Nov. then deployed in Feb. Didnt get back till late Feb and didn't get my boat ready till after the crappie spawn. I MISSED TWO CRAPPIE SPAWNS!. First time in my life that has happend. Now I am ready but just got orders to leave the beautiful state of KY to go to GA. I have about 6 weeks left here and I hate leaving this crappie heaven.
I want to take the family out on the lake. I don't want your sweet spots just some direction. I was thinking west sandy creek. I have been looking real hard at my TOPO the past few days and I like what I see. Any suggestions? The dogwoods are in full bloom around my house and this entire week is in the high 70s. I know the GA crappie spawn like the back of my hand. I have no idea how the crappie react here. Any suggestions would be good ones. Hey, you don't have to worry about me being here next year. I will be on lake blackshear down in ga next year! Crappie Fest, here I come! (Lake blackshear tradition, we all go out, the wives get the oil ready, then we have a cook off! Sure have missed it)

that area is fished heavy then i guess. Is it still producing?
