Anyone fish South Holston Lake?

Anyone fish for crappie at South Holston Lake? That is where I fish for them at because its the closest lake to me. I was just curious if anyone else did. Happy Fishing!

Haven't heard anything on it. We fish the Chick near Chatt.

I think its more known for Walleye? or maybe not for anything... lol But, there is a good walleye run in the spring which is fun too!

I've caught some really nice smallies in there and have heard of people catching some crappie, but I never have.

Its kind of hit or miss... During the spawn there are a few creeks they go up in and I will catch a few each day. I've never caught my limit of 15 which I guess says its not a super awesome crappie lake but, I've seen some pretty big crappie get pulled from there...
