Reelfoot crappie size........

how are the fish running on reelfoot these days compared to say five years ago? last several times i went i just caught little stuff. hope there is not something wrong up there.

Fished Reelfoot this past Sunday, finished up with 38 keepers. Although there is no size limit, I don't keep anything under 10". We had several fish in the 1 to 1 1/4 pound range. I have fished this lake for several years and I believe the size is defintely increasing. I have seen several fish in the 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 pound range taken this year by friends of mine.

I also fished Sunday and caught some good ones, now they were not Hoggs. I agree that the size has gotten better over the years. Here is a picture of the ones from Sunday. The second is my daughter with a couple of nice ones and the third one is some from last year.

Nice fish i fished saturday only caught sixteen crappie. Had some decent size ones.
