Default What happened to fall like weather

Weather report says look for frost on the pumpin in the morning. Last time I go to go fishing I wore shorts and T shirt. Have I missed the fall crappie fishing all together?
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Got off to a frosty start here this morning. I am just getting my boat ready for some fall fishing hopefully it doesn't switch to winter fishing.

I didn't used to be a Fair Weather Fisherman but as I get older, the chill with the wind drives me to a warm fireside. If you can take it, some really good fishing comes in the very cold. Years ago, I bank fished when you had to cast between the sheets of ice. There was no size limit in those days and I saw many full 5 gallon buckets on every trip. Don't worry too much. I don't think the 50-70 degree days will be over for some time yet. Plenty of time left.
