    not crappie but thought i'd share a couple of pics. went sat to hartwell and pulled planer boards from 7am to 1pm caught several stripers and several largemouths with the biggest stripper being 14lbs and the biggest largemouth being 5.5lbs released most back alive had to keep a couple cause of the way they were hooked. went back sun from 7am to 1pm caught several more stripers, hybrids and largemouths with the biggest fish being 8lbs. so over all we had a good weekend. this was my first productive day using planer boards and wa so exciting not know was going to bite next. also hook a 5ft gar and got him to the boat just to watch him break off and carry leader, hook and all with him. here is 2 pics of fish i had to keep because they didn't swim off so i will fry them up at the next fish fry...

    Hopefully that's a serious look, not a mean one, cause I was gonna ask him what area he caught them in:D I'm thinkin of going to Hartwell this weekend to try for a striper or two. haven't been in a looong time. too long.

    sorry about the looks i'll smile in the next pics... i caught all my fish in one area just below andersonville island. the method i used would probably work anywhere around that island. find you a deep drop off on the points and troll back and forth slowly. you will be tempted to chase the schooling fish on top but just remember if they surface regularly like they did sat and sun the big ones will be moving around to feed. they seemed to come up every hour somewhere around me.. the largemouths i caught came from 20-25ft of water no structure go figure. anymore specifics just ask as long as you practice catch and release when they are able to swim off. of course we all have to keep a few especially the floaters..
