Put boat in at catawba park this morning. Short run to beaverdam creek. Started trolling at mouth but did not get a bite till about 1/3 way back in. Bite was good till about 9:30. Had to go threw a bunch of small crappies to find the keepers. Tried some rods with just jigs but caught most of the fish on jigs tipped with minnows. Also, caught all the bigger fish on down rods in about 22'. Water temp was 61 when i left at noon.

Caught 4 spotted bass & 1 gar too.
