Wow! What a day we had. We started off with fog and heavy mist fron 6:45 until around 10 am. The fish were where we thought they would be and being marked everywhere. Problem, was they weren't hungry at the moment. We started to get a few biters here and there with a cooler being stocked fairly heavy. All our fish were keepers on the crappie, and some perch were tad bit small and met their fate with a heron who looked starved hovering over the pontoon. We had 53 on the clicker at quiting time at 1 pm. I think Uncle Remus was like me not wanting extra work cleaning fish, so he would keep a good many in the cooler and then slip them back in to swim another day. With weather not being friendly and wind ripping after 10:30, it made all of us a little disinterested in fishing. Henry was the star fisherman. He managed to help with my rods, his and a few of Uncle Remuses rods helping put the pull on them. He' going to be great when he gets older. Remus, teaching him he can't go wrong! Only a couple of pictures, so enjoy what you have. Name: IMG_20230324_150849.jpg
