Trip was not bad for us we managed 44 keepers in the live well. My cousin Steve and his son had a good time and wanted to stay longer but my old butt had enough and was ready to go. I think next time I may stay the night after that trip back thru Charlotte traffic. Maybe just me but those T***heads don't give an inch to a truck and pontoon. Seems they want someone to hit them. Any way thanks for the day spent having fun.
Now it's time to get the lights out and clear house on Wylie! :biggrin
Agree on the drive down it was like bumper cars. We were moving right along and we're being passed right and left. People just get it that a truck and boat don't stop as fast as a car. I had big fish for the boat a White Bass
Only reason you had big fish is because you didn't net my catfish. You know I am just kidding. I had a good trip home traffic was bearable and moved along pretty good.
Glad you made it safe. Maybe you can get us a road trip back to Murray when it is not so hot. Sometime in the early fall would be good. :highfive
Glad everybody had a good time and got home safely. Hey, Don are they still biting at Clark Hill or is it done?
He's the hill is doing good. We brought home 28 thursday. A lot of small fish. Going again tomorrow
we did good coming home till we hit Belmont 6 mile I-85 back up -- was blessed we were at the exit and made a mad dash on it and hit country roads on to Clover really only bad was a 100$ gas fill up --- thanks to our present administration for such great deals on gas.
Know what you mean uncle Remus it cost me $150 for me to make the trip and truck is on empty now.
Good Luck tomorrow Don and let us know how you did. By the way I'm retired now I hung it up a few months ago.
