    Default 2/9 Wylie

It was bad foggy this morning so piddled around the landing for about 3 hours. Chased schools in 35 FOW. Caught 43 and had 10 good keepers. Had to burp some that were caught so deep they couldn’t go back down. Funny how some can and some can’t. Got my best one like Uncle Remus, with the net. Caught a good one from 35 feet and got it to about 2 feet from the surface. Saw it was a good one!! It came off and layed on its side. A tear puddled up in my eye!! Then it floated up about a foot and I grabbed the net and scooped it up. Tear dried up!! Happy Dance!! Checked out a couple creeks and found nothing out of the river channel. I actually saw 49 degree water up around Paw Ck. Name: IMG_0829.jpg

Good one there. You use just a needle to burp your fish or got one of those burp trays.

I believe he laid it over the shoulder to burp that one! How do you get the eyes to go back into the socket?

You are doing some good catching as always. I saw a fellow using LS yesterday on the channel halfway up to the mouth of Torrance and Ebenezer. Didn't see any fish pulled over the side but he was almost bent over the bow looking down. Scarry to me if a chop of a wave was hit the boat just right. Hope you all wear life jackets. Keep on catching and reporting the results. Thanks!
