We are a go for April 24. We have the big picnic shed again this year. Right near the bath house on waterfront. So things starting to come together for us. All we need is to have a bunch of folks come out and join us. This is free to all C.D.C. members , family , and friends. So get the crew together and come on. Couple of items to remind folks about. This is a two state lake that wont recognize each others license. So make sure you got proper one for state you are fishing in. We can point everyone in right direction if they only have one license.
You are required by sate laws to have a P.F.D on board for each person on your boat. Just a reminder about those self inflating type , They dont count unless you have it on.
Want to have a short captain meeting about 6:45 before launch. Hope to have everyone in the water by 7:30.
Return to ramp time is 1:00 p.m. Weigh in will start at 1:15. If you are in line at ramp you can still weigh in. Lunch starts about 1:30 . Awards and prizes about 1:45.
So load up and come on out for a good day.

If you want to launch somewhere else you must come there to sign in before fishing.
We try to keep it as easy as possible but we need to know who we have on the water in case of accident or breakdown.

Almost there. Things coming together for SpringFest. We got a place. We got a chef. We got prizes. We got hungry fish to catch! Our shed is the biggest one right near bathroom. Our cook is lining up the burgers and hot dogs. Prize box is full. And fishing is getting hot. By 24th it should be wide open. Just remember to bring your own drinks. If you don’t want to sit at tables because of virus bring your own chairs. If someone wants to bring a cake or pie or cookies please do. Everything else for lunch is taken care of. Remember also that you can fish anywhere you want on the lake. But license is required for state you fish in. PFD required for each person on your boat! If you never been to a CDC event you should make it out and meet some super nice folks. Lookin for some new faces.
