I took my boys and some friends long lining yesterday. Tried two coves and around a bridge with limited success. We ended up with 5 nice slabs in about 2 hours. Water temp was 58-61. Fish in the coves came from about halfway back on the turn in about 15 ft of water. We used a combination of 1/8 and 1/16 jigs with plastics only.
