Hey CC Brothers! I've recently moved to the Lake Hartwell area (exit 14 area), and am interested in getting any tips or suggestions on the lake. I'm not looking for anyone's honey hole, secret spots, or way points. What I am interested to learn is what area of the lake you would typically fish to catch some crappie. Also, is it best to push, pull, shoot dock, tight line, or etc. - and the answer to these may all be yes depending on the time of year. I've done most types of crappie fishing, and enjoy them all - especially when the fish are biting. Are there areas of the lake to be cautious of (stumps, logs, sandbars), or is everything marked well by the corps.

I am truly excited about getting out and just learning the lake, but it's such a big lake! I've only been in my house for a little over two weeks, and I'm about to get my honey-do list caught up to where I can get out for a bit. I appreciate any and all advice, and as always, please feel free to PM me if you just don't want to share to the general public. Thanks! Ed
