The fishing is getting better with the few cool snaps that we’ve had. They seem to be much more aggressive and a higher number of big fish are being caught each trip. I am still primarily fishing stumps/logs but have caught a few fish in open water as well. Santee has been unbelievable with several fish being caught each trip that exceed the 2lb mark. Wateree is as consistent as you can get for a box full of 1.25-1.5lb fish with an occasional slab thrown in the mix. I’m expecting the rush fishing to tinker off the next few weeks a little but looking forward to watching some rod tips bend in open water. Good luck!
