Outstanding Butch! I love this time of year (other than all the pleasure boaters!). Most springtime crappie fishermen have called it a season with the end of the spawn, but the crappie are still there as you keep showing.
Had a fantastic Friday and Saturday of catching as well, but no pictures as it wasn't me doing the catching! :biggrin

Glad you showed us nay sayers up! Instead of fishing I had grand kids to sleep over for the pool this weekend and had Brisket sandwiches on Monday for lunch. Great live well shot and also great fishing trip!:highfive

Well done sir. That's exactly what I used to do to beat the pleasure boaters. I hardly ever had a problem unloading early in the morning... but many times had problems getting loaded and leaving mid to late morning when I'd be ready to go. Like you say: If it gets much past 9:00 in the morning... you are going to have increasing challenges.

Yes, all I do is longline. If I cant catch 'em longlining then I don't catch 'em. I guess I'm too lazy to fish any other way.:biggrinQuote:
