    Default Nice Day!

Finally got a chance to take my daughter fishing. She is a senior this year and works a lot of weekends. She also prefers to “tan” vs fish! Lol. Fortunately ,they bit good early today ! Got some nice ones. 4 at 1.50lb or better. Nothing over 2 yet tho. Going to give it another shot tomorrow. Beautiful day!

Congrats on catching and time spent with your daughter.
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

I bet she out fished you! Glad you'll got to go together and spend the time out on the water. Great pictures and report! You got some big fish. Two pounder or more will get there soon!

Usually find a few 2lbers on greenwood or the hill each year. Haven’t caught any since Talquin yet tho. She caught the heck out of them while I ran the net. Lol.

Today was different. Only 6 as we couldn’t find them biting anywhere we tried. Slow day for the few I talked to today. Not nearly as crowded but nobody missed out it appeared.

It gets tough on the weekends especially after the bass guys beat the water to death. You just have to keep moving and looking/trying. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't but atleast you go home knowing you gave it your best. 'Least that's what I do. Good luck getting on those 2 lbers. We still have those big whites to spawn yet....I think.
