The water is usually a lot colder on that lake than other area lakes. I have tried many times over many years to figure out crappie on that lake because legend says they are in there but I will no longer waste my time. Good bass fishing lake though.

I have caught a lot of crappie on the lake but never nothing over a pound with most being in the 8” range. Been a few years since I have fished it.
