Went out for a few hours Sunday morning trying to dodge the rain and wind. Started in BigA and the early bite was decent. Caught a few around 12" at the mouths of a couple coves suspended around 15' deep. At 9:00 the bite turned off. So we went shallow. Picked up a 4 lb bass. As we were packing up the down rod folded. A nice little 5 lb kitty came up. Throat hooked and bled everywhere so he got to come home too.
Water temp was 50-51. Best fish we're in 25-30 FOW.
