I bought one of the compact ones about the size of a thick book, fits easily under my car seat. I used it to jump off a really old Buick V8 in a parking lot. I figured if it would crank that old dinosaur, it would crank most anything.
It was a bit more than the one you got but convenient to have in car. Last year True Value ran a sale on them and I got one for my kids and grandkids for their cars. The Grands are away in college and I worry about them traveling to and from school, so a little peace of mind.
