    Default Made it back

Gone for almost a week driving to Alberquie NM. , with my son. He got a job there and we towed a small uhaul.
Different world there, the Rio Grande is a mud hole.
The Sandia mountains are right on top of him. This is a 66 mile view.
    Glad to be home.

I like Albuquerque. Those mountains were in our uncle's back yard, but he lives in an old folks home now. We try to get out there 2 out of every 3 years. This was our skip year, but been thinking about going see him anyway in Oct. Also have been to the balloon Fiesta a couple times. Your son is in for a treat. Traffic goes crazy for that week. Fishing is poor.

I was surprised at how low all the western rivers were when we traveled in the southwest. Some, like the Pecos, were dry when we were there. I was surprised at how small the Rio Grande was in places too. Always imagined it being like the Columbia or Mississippi rivers.

Glad you are back Brett! Now we can get some fishing reports. We need some reports going into the week of the 18th of Aug for our nightstalk. I know we can depend on you! Glad you got your son settled in and hope all goes well for him in his new adventure in life! Great mug shots of the two of you!

I went there once in my travels and had a lady tell me she wanted to shoot my horse. I finally figured out she wanted to shoot me a game of pool. I stopped buying her beer after that!

Welcome back Brett, the west is a lot different, with their hot and dry climate.
