Default Wylie fishing with Crappieman Mike

Went fishing again yesterday with my cousin Steve and his two sons Justin and Michael. Mike is our new Crappieman. As soon as went got set up in Crowders Creek he caught two nice crappies. Trolled around tight lining and found our perch and a few catfish. After a couple of hours of fooling around we moved toward the front of the creek for deeper water to drift for catfish. Guess we were a day late and a dollar short or Mr. Charles has scared them farther up the river but we came up with nothing. Drifted for a long time on the flats and edge of channel only to find out that I need more training from CBNC "Matthew".
Our Catch for the day was better than yesterdays with 30 perch, 5 crappies. 6 catfish, 1 bass and a nasty old gar. It was hot, it was a long day but fun with the crew trying to find the mother load of perch. Thanks guys for a good day of fishing and all the laughs!

What would cause the depth finder to black out in the one picture? Transducer or Depth finder itself going out?

The drop of was so steep the graph didn’t record the black “void” you see. It’s normal on a large drop off like that.
