Haven't gotten to fish lately so I headed to crowders creek after lunch yesterday. Still learning about long lining and jigs in general. I fished 1/32, 1/16 jigs and 1/16 road runners. this was my first time ever messing with roadrunners. 08 to 1.3 mph. marked lots of bait and a good many fish. only had about 5 or 6 good bites and none stayed hooked up. trolled probably 3 hours overall. so we headed up north and went swimming after we were burnt to a crisp. I know that this is not an inspirational post, but I think it's good to post how somedays it just isn't happening for you. in hind sight, I should have anchor locked over some of those big bait balls and sat on them. but when you're trolling along it's easy to be optimistic and keep on moving.

And of course any good advice is appreciated.
